Young Women Medallion

I drew this on a round piece of paper for a Make-A-Plate kit (you can find them here [link] and here [link]).

Yes, even though I haven't mentioned it much here on dA, I am LDS. For those of you unfamiliar with the Latter-Day Saint (aka Mormon) church, this is my drawing of the Personal Progress medallion that the young women ages 12 through 18 have the opportunity to earn. The Personal Progress award itself is a way for young women to strive to grow closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Usually the medallion is entirely gold, but I decided to leave the Salt Lake temple in the center white. The red stone at the bottom is a ruby, after the scripture verse in Proverbs 31:10 - "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far beyond rubies." (more or less, that's what it says)
